DAC11001A: DAC81001, DAC91001, DAC11001: How long does temperature calibration take?

Tool/software:

I find no reference for the duration of the DAC internal temperature calibration cycle.

The data sheet says I can poll a status bit via SPI, or use the ALARM pin to find out when it is done.

Both of these are inconvenient in my design.

I plan to do the temperature calibration only occasionally and can easily wait for a little after issuing the command,

if I only knew after what time (1us? 1ms?) it is certainly finished.

Can you give some maximal duration?

Apologies for the delay. Design team is still working on this, doing simulation and might take couple of weeks to get to reasonable number. I will respond here as soon as i have the numbers. I hope it's okay with you.

Hi Gerhard,

We were able to do the simulation and nominal calibration time is ~ 2.5ms. Please add some margin while using this number in the end application.
