ADS7041: Communication Issue

Part Number: ADS7041

Team, 

The customer has a new project that involves using the ADS7041IDCUR ADC for NTC temperature sensing. However, they are currently experiencing issues during testing on the servo drive. The servo motor drive can be shutdown as soon as OMAP138 Processor communicates with the ADC via SPI, requiring a restart to recover.

Could you please help me review the circuit design for any potential issues? Or let me know what else info. you need to better understnad the background. thanks.

    Hi Brian,

    Can you share more information on what exactly happens to cause the servo to shut down? From the ADC perspective, there should not be a lot of considerations given this is a very simple device. From an initial description, it is more likely a controller issue than an ADC issue.

    To start, can you provide a schematic, and logic captures of communications between the controller and ADC?
