Dear Tehcnical Support Team,

Can ADS52J90 and 91 sample 32 channels simultaneously?

According to the block diagram it has 16 ADCs and each input has 2:1 MUX.

I would like to know whether the 32-channel system has a sample-and-hold circuit that holds data, enabling simultaneous sampling,

or if it's purely a time-division multiplexing process where a 2:1 MUX is alternately switched to sample the analog signal input to the ADC.

Datasheet page1 said follwoing.

The device can be configured to accept 8, 16, or 32 inputs. In 32-input mode, each ADC alternately samples and converts two different inputs each at an effective sampling rate that is half of the ADC conversion rate.

    Hi, 

    In 32-channel mode, the data of all 32 channels doesn't get sampled simultaneously. 16 Even channels data gets sampled at one time instant at Fs/2 rate and 16 odd channels data gets sampled at other time instant at Fs/2 rate. So, effectively all 32 channels data get sampled at Fs rate. Please see the image below for reference.
