ADS131E08 was due to be used from a customer, and there was a following two-point question.

1. If There is a "Bit Stream" by ADS131, it is the Best, but Can Such a Function be Added by External Etc.?

 2. Although Analog Input Voltage is AVDD±0.3V, when AVDD±0.3V is Exceeded, is There How to Protect with Peripheral Part?

 (For example, protection resistance connect to input.etc)

    Satoshi,

    I am not sure I understand what you are asking on the first question. I think you are asking if the delta-sigma modulated bit-stream from the device is available, pre-sinc filter, outside of the device. If this is the case, the answer is no. The only digital result available is the filtered oversampled conversion results.

    For the second question, it would be best to use a traditional clamping diode scheme to make sure the analog input stay within range. Should an overvoltage condition occur the diodes will break down and divert the current.
