Wireless EEG using ADS1294 and EZ430-RF256x

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1294

Dear sir,

Iam doing a project on telemetry based EEG monitor , wirelessly with mobile devices. I am using ads1294 and EZ430-RF256x TI products, I need to know how the SPI output of the ads1294 can be interfaced with Bluetooth module, since Bluetooth module itself have msp430 can I use it configuring ads1294 and obtaining data from it, but when I looked at data sheet of the msp430BT i got to know it supports uart, can i use it?

please give me solutions or any reference.

Regards,

James

  • Hi Edwin,

This query is probably better served in the MSP430 forum.  I do not know if you have access to any SPI ports on the msp430 found on that hardware.

  • Hi Tom,

     I am santosh pawar

we are using ads1298r development kit and we managed to get ecg from ads1298r

Currently we have started working on our prototype board. Here we are using ADS1294R (master) and ADS1296 (slave) in the Daisy Chain configuration. We have used the datasheet for the schematic reference.

So far we have been able to read only one device ID instead of the two devices used.

We have found the supporting documentation for Daisy Chain mode to be inadequate. Do you have any other documents (application notes or sample code) for the Daisy Chain mode? pls send me at  santosh@maestros.net or amonpawar@gmail.com

its very urgent pls reply me today itself

    Regards,

    santosh
