Using ADS1244, clk and sclk

Hi,

I'm using the ADS1244 with a PIC, and it looks like I might not be able to generate a clock from my pic, and the ads1244 needs a clk output. In this case, can the ads1244's clk and sclk be at the same speed?

Hi Hj,

It appears that the only restriction is the SCLK period is restricted to a minimum of 200ns (100ns high +100ns low). So your SCLK must be less than or equal to a max of 5MHz.

The CLK input on the ADS1244 must be free running.
