The DDR on TSW1400

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE5818

hello

The DRR on TSW1400 is 1G,if i select the continue capture when i connect 1400 with ADC,and the  Memory is already full, i want to know how the capatured data will be saved? The previously saved data is overwritten ?

  • Hi Tao Chang,

The Continuous Capture mode can be used for debug purposes when trying to see time varying signals.  In this mode the capture buffer is limited to a default length so that the operation of the display (time domain or FFT) is smoother and there is less lag from capture to display.  The data is overwritten with each successive capture and is not saved to the PC.

If you need to capture/save successive data you probably need to use the TSW1400 DLL and API to accomplish this.

  • Can i control the capturing time of tsw1400 to synchronize with afe5818 data?
