I am planning on using the ADS8201 in a new application. The software group is asking me for flow charts or algorithms to allow us to evaluate the speed and overhead limitations of running 4 ADS8201 on the same SPI bus. The CS line is controlled by a master CPLD, which will be fairly fast. We are considering using the ADS8201 in Mode 5, scanning all 5 channels to the FIFO with an interrupt on FIFO full. Do you have sample code or anything that would help me evaluate this approach?
