TSW1266 questions

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6521, LMK04808, ADS5402

Hello,

I am asking about TSW1266 that includes ADS5402, LMH6521 and LMK04808.

For capturing TSW1266 output data, I  am using TSW1400 and TSW1405.

My question is where I can find ADS5402 initialization file, ADS5402.ini, for TSW1400/1405.

ADS5401-09.ini on TSW1400 might be compatible to ADS5402, but is not confident.

On TSW1405, I could not find any compatible files for ADS5402.

The another question is for LMH6521, dual DVGA,

With TSW1266 GUI v1.2, I tried to adjust gain, but could not.

It looks that the GUI doesn't send correct data.

Can anyone give me advice?

Regards

  • Hi,

The TSW1405 and TSW1400 do *not* use the same ini files.  The ini file that you see for the ADS5402 in the TSW1400 Details folder will not work if copied over to the TSW1405 Details folder.  Attached is the ini file to be copied into the TSW1405 Details\ADC Files folder.  This ini file was inadvertently left out of the recent build for the version 2.1 HSDC Pro installer that is currently on the web.  We *are* putting a new version of the HSDC patcher on the web that will copy this and a few other missing ini files intot the HSDC Pro installation, but the ini file I attached here will do as well.

The SPI GUI for the TSW1266 *should* work for setting gain, but we will have to look into that and post on that shortly.

  • Dear Richard,

Thank you for responding to my question quickly.

I confirmed the initialization file you sent worked well on TSW1405.

Regarding LMH6521 gain adjustment on TSW1266, it's fixed to maximum gain even when adjusted on the GUI.

I will wait for your reply on it.

    Regards,

    Hiro

  • Hi Hiro,

Are you still having problems with the LMH6521 gain? Please let me know.

I looked through the code for the onboard CPLD and I don't seen anything that could cause this. It might be helpful to press the "Send All" button at the top of the GUI.
