Hello,

I'm comparing different types of Delta-Sigma-Converters and Delta-Sigma-Modulators.

In the datasheet I can't find the conversion time of this ADCs.
I need this data of the following types:

AMC1203 and AMC 1204

The following types are not so important, but I'm interested in its conversion time, too.

ADS1226, ADS1258, ADS 1610, ADS1100, ADS1110, ADS1112, DDC112, DDC232.

Hi Fabian,

The AMC1203 has an internal conversion clock which runs (typically) at 10MHz. The output of the device is then a 1-bit data stream at that 10MHz rate. You then take that data stream and accumulate/decimate through a digital filter to form a data word. The effective data rate would then depend on your digital filter. The same is true for the AMC1204 with the exception that the conversion clock is provided by you as an input to the device. The typical clock frequency for the AMC1204 is 20MHz, with a minimum clock frequency of 5MHz.

Hi Tom,

thanks for your help. That the bitstream has the same frequency as the conversion clock, I've known already.

I wan't to know, how long it'll take, if there's an input signal, to get the output datastream.
Where can I find this information in the datasheet?
