ADS62C17 IBIS model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS62C17

Hi;

I downloaded the ads62c17 ibis model from TI web but it turned out to be ads61xx, not ads62c17. And I want to check impedance matching of the pin 25&26, that is sampling clock input, but in the ibis file those pins are NC, not connected. What could I do?

THX!

  • Hi Donald,

    Hmm... I'm looking into this. It looks like there may be a problem here.

  • Hi Donald,

    The ADS61xx IBIS model can be used for the ADS62C17. Note that the ADS62C17 is simply a dual channel version of the ADS61xx. The digital outputs and clock interfaces are the same between the two parts, so the ADS61xx is a good representation of the ADS62C17. You can use pins 10 and 11 of the ADS61xx IBIS model to simulate pins 25 and 26 of the ADS62C17.

  • Hi, Matt;

    You are right! Thank you very much!

  • Hi, Matt;

    I reviewed the ibis model of ADS61XX and found no model of pins 10 and 11, they looked like:

    [Pin]  signal_name          model_name       R_pin     L_pin     C_pin
    1      DRVSS                GND
    2      DRVDD                POWER
    3      OVR_SDOUT            NC               0.14286   2.23188nH   0.22890pF
    4      UNUSED/CLKOUTM       LVDS             0.13566   2.11163nH   0.21277pF
    5      CLKOUT/CLKOUTP       clockoutp        0.13343   2.07439nH   0.21194pF
    6      DFS                  NC               0.13324   2.07109nH   0.21722pF
    7      OE                   inp_oe           0.13697   2.13329nH   0.20917pF
    8      AVDD                 NC
    9      AGND                 NC
    10     CLKP                 NC               0.07156   1.81853nH   0.28418pF
    11     CLKM                 NC               0.07588   1.96115nH   0.30206pF

    ......

    so still can  not use it.

    what should I do?
