Hello Kevin,

 I got the AMC1210MB-EVM and two AMC1204 EVM to test them for further development. After installing the software from  https://sourceforge.net/projects/amc1210mbevmsw/ , I connect everything together and put the setteings and then click the "Aquire" button ,It is showing me this message "Firmware encountered an unexcpected failure, please try again". I am wondering if you now what is the failure reason so I can fix it. Thanks.

    Saad,

    My first guess is that the sinc filter OSR is too low and the AMC1210 + AMC1204 is producing data too fast for the Stellaris MCU to keep up with. Try increasing the Sinc OSR to 32 or so.

        I tried it and it's working, thanks. I am just confused about the shift I got in the signal on the screen. I think there is some settings that I am missing. Is there by any chance that I can find a manual for the software with some examples on TI.com??

    P.S. : I am not using the resolver mode, just the current shunt EVM.

    Saad,

    There are no other examples available for using the EVM, just the EVM User's Guide.

    I would suggest you post a separate thread about this so the applications engineer responsible for this device can assist you.
