DAC - ADC connection

Hi,

I am generating a sine wave(10 HZ) from FPGA and feeding this to DAC 0800 to generate an analog signal. I can see generated waveform in the oscilloscope (5 V pk-pk differential output).  I am trying to feed this analog output to ADC 0804 so that I can take digital signals back to FPGA and verify that the digital values are matching with the value as generated by the FPGA earlier.  My problem is that when I connect the output of DAC to ADC, the DAC output goes to 0V. I cannot figure out the problem because the ADC and DAC  is working perfectly when they are independent.

Does it have anything to do with the output resistance of DAC and input resistance of the ADC?

regards,

Paul
