ADS1274 Channel failure

Hi,

   Initially all the channels of ADS1274 works fine ,but after some days of usage first two channels started to give negative rail  voltage data equivalent,remaining two channels working properly,Now that two also not working.

   Input range of the ADC is well with in the input specification ADS1274.

   What would be the possible cause of failure?

    Thanks for your immediate reply,

    Connection is almost similar to Evaluation board schematic based on THS4521 signal conditioning circuit.

    The change here is instead of unity gain Differential amplifier.It is designed for attenuation by the factor of 2.In turn it could accept the input in the range of +/-5V input signal for each channel

    ADS1274 based Data acquisition card is stacked on the top of another one Processing card.In that card processor dissipates heat ,Does this could create any issue for ADS1274 since its thermalpad comes just  above the processor(but air gap is Present in the surrounding,both card stacked with distance of 2cm) ?

    It certainly is possible that there is a heat problem, but is probably the least likely problem, especially with a space between the boards (unless in a really hot environment and the processor is producing an excessive amount of heat).  Have you measure the inputs to the ADC to make sure that the output value is actually in error?  Another question, did you solder the powerpad of the ADS1278 to the board?
