AMC1210MB-EVM with Windows 7.0

At the moment, the AMC1210MB-EVM software is only working with Win XP.  I'll see what we can do to get it updated to run on Windows 7 and get back to you soon.

The web page indicates that there is "Open source firmware and software to customize evaluation". But, I couldn't find it. I am wondering if we could modify the code to run under Windows 7? Could you send me the source code?

I've got someone looking into updating this to Win7 now.  As soon as I have an estimate on how long that will take, I'll let you know.

Thanks. What about the source code so that we can start developing our own code? The TI solution seems like it would be perfect for our current monitoring needs. We could provide our customers with a scope like output of the current.

I am an engineer at NI, and now I developing a board were I use AMC1210.

I also like to have source code of AMC1210MB-EVM Evaluation Software, because communication interface of my board differ than in evaluation board.  

and  I can help with code porting to the Win7.

Thanks, I did it (copy file) but the hardware doesn't work yet.

The eval board isn't detected by Pc (Windows 7).

I have restarted the Pc and reinstalled the AMC1210 Software, but same issue.

Before I did it, the board works fine on Pc under Windows XP but now, I can't run the board on this Pc ;-(

FYi, I have another board AMC1210MB-EVM witch one works fine on Pc under Windows XP (I keep this preciously).

1) Could you please tell me why, now the board  doesn't work on Pc under Windows XP ?

2) Do you have another way to start the board under Windows 7 ?

Hi Stephane,

Did you extract the .inf file or just copy the .zip file into your Windows\inf folder?  That file should not have anything to do with the actual hardware, so I'm not sure why your board would not work on an XP machine.  Are you running two separate PCs or is this a dual-boot system?
