Hello,

The DAC7811's data sheet mentions that it is compatible with the Texas Instruments 5-6K Interface Board (SLAU104) and HPA-MCU Interface Board (SLAU106). Our customer wants to make use of the DXP DAC Exerciser Program to assist in evaluation. Which interface board should they use: 5-6K or HPA-MCU?

Hello John,

Thank you for bringing this opportunity to our attention.

DAC7811 is a relatively old part - so it's User's Guide was created before DXP extended its support to the DAC7811. Because of this, the User's Guide refers to the legacy evaluation platforms you mentioned, the 5-6k Interface Board and the HPA-MCU.

A few years ago we added DAC7811 to the list of products supported by DXP. DXP utilizes the MMB0 platform, which is not sold separately. We can take this discussion offline and I can ship an MMB0 to you or your customer, whichever you prefer, to handle this request.
