DAC8734 - Need of two reference pins

Hi,

I am working Multi-channel Data Distribution System. DAC8734 suits for our application.
I have a query on DAC8734 specification. There are two reference pins available in DAC8734.

What is the reason behind this.
Is it to provide different voltage swings for DAC's present inside the IC.
