ADS4142/ADS4145 interfacing RF LNA buffer app note

Hello,

Are there any app notes on interfacing the ADS4142/ADS4145 to the RF LNA buffer?  This is the software defined MP01-HF radio.  Also, is a 16 bit ADC version planned for this low power family?

    Hi Russell,

    To interface directly to an RF LNA you would most likely use a transformer coupled interface. This would be similar to what's seen on the EVM. A dual transformer approach will provide the best HD2 performance, but with frequency planning they might be able to avoid HD2 altogether and get away with a single transformer. Example circuits are shown in the datasheet with some discussion.

    There is no 16-bit version planned for this family. The closest part may be the ADC16V130 or ADS5560, both at higher power.
