    Hi,

    Please download the IBIS-AMI model from the link below. 

    Files:

    • "DAC38J84_RX_Package_Model_7_16_2013.zip" - Contains the s-parameter model of the package
    • "MCRInstaller.exe" - Matlab runtime engine - required for this model
    • "ti_rincewind_40nm_ami_v0p96.zip" - IBIS-AMI model

    Hi Matt,

      We have been trying to use the IBIS-AMI model for DAC38j84 as well.

    Getting some warnings and finally an error:

    Parameter name 'RX_DFE_GAIN_CFG_bit12_to_8' in 'AMIvarName[13]' is inconsistent with the AMI file.

    Error detected by hpeesoftsim during netlist flattening.

    'Rx_AMI1':  Index of AMIvarName parameter is out of range.

    Could you, please, assist with the issue?

    Hi Vlad,

    The DAC38J84 serdes block does not have a DFE so RX_DFE_GAIN_CFG is not a parameter in this model. Are you sure you're using the DAC38J84 IBIS-AMI model?

    Hi Matt,

        I confirm - we are working with DAC38J84 IBIS-AMI model. Here are files of the model : rincewind_40nm_rx.ami, rincewind_40nm_rx.ibs.

    Both files are included into DAC38J84_RX_Package_Model_7_16_2013.zip package we have got from TI.

    Below is the error output from the simulation tools.

    Please advise.
