Any suggestion for ADC EVM with 500 KSPS and bi polar input voltage of +/- 10V?

ADS8684 or ADS8688 are the devices which you can have a look.

Since I do not have clear understanding of your requirement, it will be great help if you can share your requirement in detail to help with better suggestions.

1. Resolution
2. Number of channel
3. Input signal frequency

hello Shridhar,

I want a
1.16 bit resolution, 500Ksps ADC
2.1 channel is enough i think for the analog signal from the PZT device
3. maybe minimum of 100kHz
4. Additional is i also wanted a differential input ADC because i think it is needed on piezo strain gauge. or single ended input is also good?
I tried to search ti products for this specifications and no luck, all are single ended

Mark,

Are you really sure you need 500kSPS? For a piezo strain gauge, the bandwidth is generally much lower than would be indicated for that data rate.

If you can go to a lower data rate, the ADS1259EVM uses the PGA280 as a front end. You should be able to attenuate the signal for reading with that ADC, which gives a maximum data rate of about 14kSPS.

My professor told me to find an ADC with 500KSPS sampling rate. Anyway thanks for some information.
