Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering ADS7885 and have a question.

Could you please advise?

ADS7885's serial output data consist of 16clks.

The customer wants to read 10clks.

Is it possible?

I think it may be possible because conversion has already finished and all the data has sent.

Is it right?

Hello Shinichi,

Sorry for my delayed response but you are correct - a 10-clock frame should also work. The timing diagram indicates that /CS can be pulled high after the 10th falling edge of SCLK. Please ensure that the interface timing takes into account the minimum quiet time requirement (parameter "tq") before the next falling edge of /CS.

It's a good news that ADS7885 is able to work 10clks.

I also notice it is needed to respect tq timing.
