ADC12J4000EVM with Altera FPGA Development Kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC12J4000EVM, TIDA-00432

Hello,

My customer has a question about ADC12J4000EVM.

[Q]

They want to use Altera Arria 10 FPGA Development Kit (A10-FPGA-DK-UG) with ADC12J4000EVM like TIDA-00432.

Is the combination possible ?

Best Regards,

Hiroshi Katsunaga

  • Hiroshi,

Yes, the ADC12J4000EVM can work with an Arria 10 platform. Altera is currently showing this interface to customers around the world with their Arria 10 Roadshow. The demo uses a TI TSW14J10EVM between the two boards to allow for HSDC Pro to be used to capture data from the Arria board. But if you do not plan on using HSDC Pro, the ADC should work plugged directly into the FMC on the Arria 10 board.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Hi Jim,

Thank you for your fast response.
    I understood your comments.

    They have TSW14J56EVM.
It will use in first step.
An Arria 10 development kit will use in 2nd step with their embedded logics.

    Thank you for your support.

    Best Regards,
    Hiroshi Katsunaga
