Hi,

With respect to DAC8750, please answer the following questions.

Let me questions about the operation of when the CRC to Enable.

1. If the CRC error has occurred in writing the transmission,
do you have there been ignored and the data is not written, is the recognition that?

2. In the transmission of the read command, if a CRC error has occurred,
After an error has occurred, and reads out the data by NOP command, what data is read?
What FFFF'h? or 0000'h?

3. There is a bit of "don't care" on register map.
The calculated CRC is either sends the value calculated including the bit for "don't care"?

Cafain,

1. If a CRC error is detected when writing to the device the command is ignored and the error flag in the status register is set.
2. I do not understand exactly what sequences you are describing here. Are you asking what would happen if there is a CRC error in the read command followed by a NOOP? In this case the read command should be ignored, I believe the output data would be the content from the previous frame but will need to confirm. Regardless it is useless data for executing a read command if the CRC word was incorrect in the read command.
3. For the write-frame CRC word the CRC word should reflect the condition of the don't care bits. For a read-frame the CRC is calculated with 0s as the don't care bits.
