Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1292R, ADS1292
Hello,
I have been measuring ECG and bioimpedance with ADS1292R evaluation board. I have noticed unexpected behaviour in ECG noise ratios, and my collegues and I have not figured out what is the cause. Below is presented figure of unfiltered IP and ECG while standing and breathing normally:
As can be seen, IP signal is acting like expected but there is some significant error in ECG in the middle of measurement. My collegue was able to notice that the power line noise is harmonized in the middle without any clear reason. This can be seen in next figure where clean part of signal is analyzed at the first row and noisy part of the signal is analyzed at the second row:
This kind of behaviour repeats itself every now and then despite of different electrode types or measuring positions (laying, sitting, standing) that I have used. When noise level once gets multiplied it usually stays that way to the end of the measurement. Also beginnig of the noisy part variates.
Do you have ideas of the cause of this behaviour? How could I avoid it happening again during measurements? I have ruled out of handling any electrical devices while doing to measurements.

Katariina Tuohimäki
