All,

I am working on a ADS1x9xECG-FE Demonstration Kit with ADS1292r IC. Its output can be managed with ADS1x9xECG-FE Evaluation Software.

I uploaded a firmware which its source code is put in the software directory. After uploading the device can not recognized by PC its USB does not be added in the device manager; and intuitively it is not blinking. Any solution to solve this issue?

Hi Mohsen,

What operating system are you using with the ADS1291 evaluation module? Was the device recognized prior to installing the update? Have you tried to manually load the driver by pointing to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\ADS1x9xevm\USB Drivers directory?

Thanks for replying,
It is ADS1292
I am using Windows 7 with the ADS1292. Yes it was realized. In the ADS1x9xECG-FE Evaluation Software, there is an option to upload a new firmware. Instead of the default firmware, I uploaded another firmware which is in a zip file located in'~\ADS1x9xevm\Firmware\Source Code' folder. After the uploading, the device looks dead without any blinking or USB recognition.

Try to manually update the driver, that should take care of the issue.

HI Tom,

thanks for the tip.

I added it manually, unfortunately it did not change anything. It is just added to the Device Manger. The only difference now it is installed as COM5

finally, it is resolved by using sw1 and uploading the original firmware again. I found the solution here:
