REF5025 Output Voltage Accuracy vs Temperature

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF5025, REF5025A-Q1, REF5025-EP

When I comparing the data sheet for the following items :

- REF5025IDR and REF5025AIDR ( datasheet TEXAS_INSTRUMENT_REF5025_revH_JUNE_2016 )

- REF5025A-Q1 ( datasheet TEXAS_INSTRUMENT_REF5025A-Q1_revH_FEB_2015 )

- REF5025-EP ( datasheet TEXAS_INSTRUMENT_REF5025-EP_revB_JUNE2015 )

I don't understand why the Figure 4. Output Voltage Accuracy vs Temperature are so different between the

REF5025IDR/REF5025AIDR figure 4 and REF5025A-Q1/REF5025-EP figure 4 (refer to annexed document):

Is it the same die for all the devices REF5025IDR/REF5025AIDR, REF5025A-Q1, REF5025-EP ?

  • Stephane,

In most references, the drift performance is trimmed and set at our final test. It's likely that for the Q1 version, the drift performance has a different trim solution to give a more accurate drift. This could easily be done even if the die is the same.
