I am using TSW12J54EVM and TSW14J56EVM to acquire pulsed data output from a photo-multiplier tube.
However we got some really strange trigger behavior when we configured the system following the defaults outlined in the manual.
In our setup we had a external trigger running at 5Khz. We were able to collect data when we didn't enable the trigger mode. However, when we set the trigger option to "trigger mode enabled", we could only capture data one time. If we tried to do it again, we would receive an error "did not receive trigger". I included a word doc detailing the steps we took.
Our ultimate goal is to be able to automatically collect data triggered by the external trigger signal. While really hope to do it in Matlab, but if I will be OK if I can get it to work through the High Speed Data Converter Pro GUI...
