Could you confirm my TUE calculation?
I want to estimate maximum TUE of ADS7841 and ADS7822.
I'm referring the following:
TUE = sqrt(sq(Offset error) + sq(Gain error) + sq(DNL) + sq(INL))
-ADS7822
TUE(max) = sqrt(sq(3) + sq(3) + sq(2) + sq(2)) = 5.1 (LSB)
-ADS7841ES
TUE(max) = sqrt(sq(3) + sq(4) + sq(2) + sq(0.8)) = 5.5 (LSB)
I picked max value and typical value for parameters, is it correct?

Yes, the calculation is correct. Using the maximum offset, gain, and linearity specifications in the calculation leads to the most conservative worst case TUE estimate; since it is unlikely a device will present the max errors on all the parameters at the same time. Using typical specifications will yield a TUE estimate closer to the expected performance.
