Hi,

I have the similar issue reported as in another forum (DAC8562EVM running with DXP problem) with DXP waiting for USB device (connection timeout). I followed all steps in this forum adding the DAC8811.xml file in the .\Devices folder but on launching DXP the USB hangs. Can you suggest solution for this as I tried re-starting DXP & removing USB. It is exact same as above with MMB0 displayed in device manager. Let me know if you can help out as it is slowly progress.

Hi Kevin,

I am using Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). DXP installs as a 32 bit application (x86). A colleague of mine used Windows 10 & it worked for him that time. The DXP DAC Config File Downloader never worked, so added the DAC8811.xml manually. I am able to load the DAC8811 config (see image), however USB hangs. Let me know what you think on it.

The installation is usually quite stable on Windows 7, as a result there's not really many questions asked and therefore not really an FAQ either :P

I am surprised to hear that you are having issues. There are a pair of supporting installers you can give a try to see if the driver issues are rectified. Please refer to the below:
