DAC8562: How To Connect CLR if Not Used

Can the CLR_B pin be connected to ground if the CLR functionality is not used? I assume I can, but it is not 100 % clear from the data sheet, since there it is only mentioned that the CLR_B input is 'falling-edge sensitive'.

At face value of the datasheet, I would say that connecting the pin to ground is no problem. Usually in a case like this I would just suggest the pin is tied high such that the pin at no point issues any sort of clear command. Is connecting the pin high not an option?

If you'd like we can look at this in design / on the bench to confirm for you.

Thanks for your reply. I can pull the pin to VDD, if you consider this the safer way for disabling the CLR functionality.

Yes I would say tied to VDD would be my preferred recommendation.
