What is the maximum ECL output power of DAC3162EVM please? Assume it works at 500Msps.Thank you.

    For your imformation, the input logic is ECL and the bit resolution on each channel is 4-bit. What is the achievable maximum output power? Or what is the gain in dBm? Thank you.

    Ryan,

    The device can provide up to 20mA at the output with a 960 Ohm resistor between the BIASJ pin and GND. I am not sure what you mean by bit resolution is 4-bit. Are you only driving 4 bits of the 12 bit input bus? The input logic has nothing to do with the output power of the device. Also the input must be driven with LVDS level inputs. I am not sure why you are mentioning ECL as this will not work.
