DAC5687EVM: dac5687 on the dac5687evm board has burned

Part Number: DAC5687EVM

I bought a dac5687evm to use my master thesis. I powered up the board but the dac5687 on the board is burned.

The problem was an instantaneous voltage rise I guess. Isn't there a protection for this? It had to be. I'm not sure 

if it works to order a dac5687 and mount it on the board.  

1) Is there any possibility  to send me a new one for free?

2) If I mount a dac5687 on it, does it work or require some initial settings?

    Hi Yunus,

    You can replace the DAC5687 by ordering free samples from follwoing link and soldering the dac to the evm.

    Once the DAC5687 is soldered to evm board it should work. Please let me know if you have any issues with ordering the samples.

    I have a warning on my page as

    "Your account does not have access to samples. Please remove the highlighted devices, or, purchase these parts in order to checkout. To learn more click here."

    I did not understand the problem. Why my account does not have access to samples?

    Hi Yunus,

    Hi Gill,

    I'm so pleased that you sent me samples I need. But I have a problem about that. It is at the customhouse. In Turkey we have a limit for international shopping. I have to pay nearly 50$ because the price is over 30 Euro. Please send me just one more sample and write a price below 30 Euro or write it is a gift, if it is possible.
