DAC8560: DAC8560 DCA

Part Number: DAC8560

Dear Sir,

I am surveying 1 ch DAC solution with accuracy 1mv for supply 5V or 3.3v. DAC output 2~0V or 3~0V

I found DAC85760 16 bit , output range 0~vref. can it meet my speicifcaiton? I found Zero code error 5 ~20 mV , will this parameter affect the accuracy ? Thanks,

  • Hello,

The DAC8560 should be able to meet your requirements.  Are you intending on using the internal 2.5V reference?  If you use an external reference, you must take care to disable the internal reference at power up.

The zero-code error specification is used to convey how close to GND the DAC output can drive.  Once the DAC output is beyond the zero-code error region, then accuracy is determined by offset, gain, INL error sources.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Paul
