TSW12J54EVM: Increase the amount of RAM?!

Hello experts,

In my applicationI need to store a large amount of data (as much as 4G samples, 16 bits) on the RAM. However, the TSW12J54EVM's RAM only supports half of it. Is it possible to increase the amount of RAM on TSW12J54EVM? If yes, has anyone here ever done it? How hard is it? If not, does anyone know any option that would solve our problem?

    Hi Hossein
    I believe you are actually referring to the TSW14J56EVM, which is used for data capture from ADC EVMs, and data generation for DAC EVMs.
    The TSW12J54EVM is a combination of the ADC12J4000 ADC and the LMH5401 fully differential amplifier and does not have on-board data capture capability.
    The TSW14J56EVM can capture and store up to 2G 16-bit samples. I'm not aware of any ways to increase that memory size, but will contact a colleague who has more experience with this board design.

    Jim,

    There is no way to increase that memory size as it is limited by the DDR3 memory that is on the board.
