AFE4405EVM: AFE4405EVM with 2 photodiodes?

Dear TI team,

I read on the description of the AFE4405 that it can support up to 2 photodiodes. However, the description of the AFE4405EVM says that the evaluation board supports a single photodiode, so I am a bit confused.

Could you please tell me if the evaluation board can support 2 photodiodes?

Hi Alexandra,

Indeed AFE4405 supports 2 photodiodes, but the sensor module that comes with the EVM has only one photodiode. That is why with the given sensor board and EVM, only one photodiode is supported. However you can interface any other sensor board that has two photodiodes to the EVM.
