Hi Support,

Any measurement results for wider band for DAC38J84, TFR3705 and TSW38J84EVM?

Am looking for the output spectrum up to 12 GHz.

    Ikon,

    The DAC only can sample up to 2.5GHz and the TRF3705 is only rated up to 4GHz. Are you confusing the serdes rate of 12.5GHz of the DAC with output data? The serdes rate is the bit rate for the digital inputs, not the DAC output.

    Hi Jim,

    Customer would like to know the output spurious level at higher frequencies.. especially after the IQ modulator TRF3705.

    The datasheet only shows up to 4GHz.. Customer is looking at up to 12GHz.

    Ikon,

    We can grab this data but need some information first. What sample rate should the DAC be running at? What interpolation factor? What is the input pattern to the DAC? What frequency should the LO be set to for the TRF3705? I assume you do not want us to use any type of output filtering.

    Who is the customer and what is the application?
