Part Number: ADC12D1800RB
I have just unboxed the ADC12D1800RB/NOPB. Following the installation instructions, I am unable to install the ADC10D1000 USB driver.
Running Windows 10 Enterprise as an administrator. Have successfully installed WV5 22.214.171.1245, DLL Version 126.96.36.199.
When I plug in the USB cable, I hear the Windows chime indicating a device has been connected, but the OS does not attempt to install a driver for new hardware.
I open Device Manager and find an "Unknown Device" under "Other Devices". This entry goes away when I unplug the USB cable.
I right click on the "Unknown Device" and select Update Driver. Following the installation instructions, I browse to the driver location in the installation path and get the following message from the OS:
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.
"National Semiconductor WaveVision ADC10D1000
"A problem was encountered while attempting to add the driver to the store.
"If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software."
I am looking for ideas on how to proceed. I am unable to work with this board until I can communicate with it.
