DAC128S085EVM: Windows 10 compatibility

Is there a different driver to use with the MSP430 Launchpad and the DAC124S085EVM and Windows 10?

I was able to update the firmware on the Launchpad, but I am not able to install the driver as suggested in Step 2.3 of the user's guide. The device does not show up in the device manager as other and forcing it manually I was blocked because the driver is not signed.

I'm at a bit of loss as to the next steps to get this module established on my system.

Thank you for your query. I understand that the driver may not have been signed for Win 10. I need to check with the development team to see if there is a work around and get back to you.

Hi Jeridiah,

I went through the user's guide and realized that the issue is related to the MSP430 driver and the microcontroller folks should be able to help you out.
