There is a mistake in DAC7821's DATASHEET?

In the FIG.25 of DAC7821's DATASHEET ,I think it should be only 2R at the last group （R and 2R series）.

    Welcome to the E2E Community.

    I would agree with your assessment that the cumulative resistance in this leg should be 2R in order to maintain the intended binary weighted current divider nature of the R-2R MDAC structure. Additionally this illustration does not appear to be showing the 3 MSB segmentation which is mentioned in the text just above Figure 25.

    The real structure should look something more like what is shown in Figure 18 of the DAC8811 datasheet (www.ti.com/.../slas411d.pdf).
