AMC7812EVM-PDK: Need assistance in using AMC7812EVM-PDK kit & software GUI

Hello,

We have purchased AMC7812EVM-PDK evaluation kit from element14.

We have downloaded SW from TI website (Version 1.0.0.0) when I tried to connect the evaluation kit through the USB interface, the windows is not able to detect the evaluation kit.

I am not able to find the device driver & facing difficulty in accessing the software & the kit as well.

Request you to kindly help me in addressing this issue at the earliest.

    Hi Adarsh,

    Can you confirm if the EVM you received looks like the one featured on the EVM landing page on TI.com?
    www.ti.com/.../AMC7812EVM-PDK

    Under the 'Software' category listed on the landing page there is a link that will allow you download the software GUI and driver. Please install them as an Administrator on your PC.

    Let me know if that solved your issue.

    I tried the software you mentioned in the reply.

    I was indeed using the same software . I am not install the driver & also my EVM looks quite different from the once you shared in the link.

    Please find attached the screenshot  of driver error & the EVM.

    Kindly have a look & help in addressing the issue.

    Hi Adarsh,

    I think element14 sold you our older EVM. We updated it a few years ago but I seems like some of the distributors have still have some of the old stock.

    I have sent you a friend request over the e2e forums. Please accept the request and we can see how we can get this resolved offline.
