If I can use LMP7721 to replace LMC6001 when my power supply is 5v

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP7721, LMC6001, LMC6081

I am design a amplier current for photodiode(UVC sensor), I need a very low Ib(input bias current). So I want to choose LMC6001, but I also want to find a alternative for example LMP7721(LMP7721 seem like cheaper and new).

  • Hi John,
LMC6001 and LMP7721 are the two lowest Ib options we have. A lower cost option might be LMC6081, with a 100fA input bias current. While LMC6001 and LMC6081 both share a common pinout, LMP7721 has a different pinout (and is only available in SOIC).
  • Alex:

Thanks for you advice. Actually I want to use soic in my next design. I would like to try LMC6081 if it is cheaper.

This pics copy from sglux uvc sense datasheet.(I wish it is right)

I have use multisim to simulation. It is good but I think Rf is so big.

I will test the current. Thanks
