Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , DAC5681
Hello support team,
I want to know the maximum junction temperature (Tjmax) of DAC5672.
It is not seen in the datasheet.
I'd appreciate your informing me.
Best regards,

Hi Masanori,
Please use DAC5672A datasheet which has the thermal information. http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dac5672a.pdf page 6 and there is a foot note (1) with a link which will help you with the calculations.
DAC5672 and DAC5672A are basically the same device, same package, same pinout. If this is for a new design I would recommend to DAC5672A over DAC5672.

Neeraj
Hello Neeraj-san,
Thank you for the information.
Since the power consumption is 0.4608 W and the thermal resistance RθJA is 64.4 °C, / W, the junction temperature is calculated as 85 + 0.4608 × 64.4 = 114.68 °C in case the ambient temperature is 85 °C.
Is this junction temperature value (114.68 °C) absolute maximum rating?
Is there any possibility for decreasing the product reliability such as failure or destruction, if the junction temperature exceeds 114.68 °C?
I want to know the maximum junction temperature "Tjmax as absolute maximum rating".
Please refer the description in below material.

Hello support team,
After that, there was no reply from anyone.
How is the situation?

Hello support team,
Again I will ask you the same question.
What is the maximum junction temperature (Tjmax) of DAC5672?
Is it 125 °C?
Is it 150 °C?
Is it any other temperature?
Since it is unknown, the customer can not design thermal designs and he is troubled.
Best regards,
M. Tachibana
Hello Neeraj-san,
I understood that TJmax is 105 °C.
Thank you for your trouble.
I'll pass the information to the customer.
Best regards,
