AMC1203: About Radiated Emission

Part Number: AMC1203

Hi Team,

There is a noise problem in my customers.

I want advice for measures.

On the radiation characteristics of EMC test.

 60 dBuV / m at 200 MHz

Since it exceeds the standard value largely, it needs to be made small.

Please tell me something specific way.

Best Regards,

Kenji

  • Hi Kenji,

Without seeing the test result and the layout of the AMC1203 board being tested, it's a little difficult to debug what the problem might be from the information provided. I'll send you a note and see what we can do to help out.
  • Hi Kenji,

Thank you for the additional information you provided. The changes seem to have made a difference! I'll send more detail in the morning.
  • Hi Tom,

I was informed that the proposed measures were effective.
    Customer passed the EMC test.
    Measures are below.
    · Add ferrite beads to power supply lines (VDD1, VDD2)
    · Add RC to output line (MCLK, MDAT) (100 Ω, 33 pF)
If you have any other points to notice, please contact me individually.

    I appreciate your support.
    Best Regards,

    Kenji
