Hi all,

I wonder whether it would be possible to implement a daisy-chain with different devices.

Is there any inconvenient of implementing a daisy-chain composed of 4 ADS8331 and 4 ADS1298, all of them synchronized with the same sampling rate?

Is there any example on how to read/write data from/to these devices or similar?

Antonio,

The daisy frame length and timing requirements of the ADS8331 and ADS1298 are different; therefore, I don't believe you can daisy chain 4xADS8331 and 4xADS1298 together.

Page 34, 35 of the ADS8331 datasheet shows the daisy chain mode timing for the ADS8331.

Page 57 of the ADS1298 datasheet shows the daisy chain configuration and timing for the ADS1298.
