May I know what's kind of application need to use Midscale? or what's the advantage of midscale ?

    Kai,

    A variety of applications may require power-on to mid-scale. I wouldn't say there is intrinsically any advantage to power-on to mid-scale, typically it is more driven by a firm requirement for the application. For instance, if the DAC was driving a circuit with bipolar outputs where the mid-scale DAC output actually drives the overall circuit to zero volts output.  In this case the circuit would power up to a fairly "neutral" state.
