DAC38RF80: ALM_SYSREF_DET

Hello,

In the datasheet, DAC38RF80 has two PLL, one for DAC clock, one for SERDES. In ALM_SYSREF_DET field, there are two alarm, SERDES_PLL 0 out of lock and SERDES PLL1 out of lock. Are they DAC PLL out of lock and SERDES PLL out of lock? If so, which alarm is for which PLL?

Assumed above, PLL_LOCK alarm happens when either PLL becomes unlocked. Is my understanding correct?

    Toshihiro,

    The DAC38RF80 can be set up as two separate links. In this case there will be two separate SERDES PLL lock indicators, one for each link. There is only one DAC PLL. If two links are used, there will be three total PLL lock alarms, two for the SERDES and one for the DAC. Otherwise, with one link, there will be two alarms.
