ADS54J40EVM: ADS54Jxx EVM GUI software does not run. "LabVIEW: Resource not found."

Do you have the Labview runtime engine installed on your computer? If not, try installing the HSDC Pro GUI from the TI website then run the ADS54Jxx EVM GUI. The HSDC Pro GUI comes with the runtime engine. What version of OS are you using?

I did not have the run-time engine installed.  I have tried installing the HSDC Pro GUI and that didn't fix it.  The HSDC Pro does run without errors.

I'm using Windows 7 SP1.  The computer is not connected to the network if that is an issue.

Can you try uninstalling the ADC GUI and re-installing it? If this does not work, you might need to repair some run time engine files that are not installing properly for some reason. I have been informed by our software team that the ADC GUI does include an older version of the run time engine and if the re-install does not fix your issue, this older version of the run time engine will need to be looked into.

I uninstalled: VI Package Manager, National Instruments Software, and ADS54Jxx GUI. After that I restarted and then reinstalled the ADS54Jxx GUI again. Still the same.

That JKI VI Package Manager complains that LabView 2015 Runtime is not installed when I try to run it. I suspect that is why the 2014 Runtime installed with the HSDC GUI does not fix the problem. I've start the process of getting the LabView runtime downloaded seperately.

I've tried installing the Run-Times (2014, 2015, and 2016) 64 bit.  Still the same.

Are other people able to use this version of the software?

If this is the latest version from the TI website, you are the first to report this. Can you download the ADS42JB69EVM GUI and see if it installs properly on your machine?

1. Uninstall National Instruments Software and the GUI.

2. Install LabVIEW 2010 Run Time Engine from the following link,

3. Install and run the GUI.

 

I've unistalled all the National Instruments software and installed the 2010 Run-Time from the above link.  I then reinstalled the ADS54Jxx GUI and it still doesn't work.  I have installed the ADS42JBxx GUI as well.  It also throws the same errors.
