ADS4149EVM: interface, output data, mode change

Part Number: ADS4149EVM

Hi,

I'm trying to get a data which is formed by 14 bit binary code on ADS4149EVM from J5. So I gat rid of  RN3,RN4,RN5 and RN6 and installed the U7 and I just follow what the User's Guide say.

but I still gat a data which is more like LVDS mode.

It is looks like this

But what I want to get  from J5 is this kind of data.

please let me know what I should do for set up.

And, Is this right that first picture is about LVDS mode and the second picture is about CMOS mode?

Thank you.

  • Sung,

Is RN1 and RN2 installed on your board? If using parallel SPI, did you set the jumpers to output in CMOS mode? If you are using serial SPI, did you write to the registers to set the output mode to CMOS? Did you issue a reset to the ADC after power up? If yes to all of these, can you probe the input to the buffer and see if the inputs are at CMOS levels?

    Regards,

    Jim
