Hello E2E,

I Looking for EVM of ADS8674, I could not find it.
Is it possible to evaluate ADS8674 on the ADS8678 EVM by implementing ADS8674?
Is GUI saported for ADS8674?

    Hello,

    You can use the ADS86xxEVM for both ADS8674 and ADS8678, the softwre should also be able to support the devices

    Does GUI is able to control for ADS8674 on EVM in default? or need to revise?

    And,
    Is simple-capture-card include with the ADS8678EVM at shipout?

    Yes, the EVM PDK will come with everything you need to get it up and running. And the software to support the EVM and the devices is available on the EVM PDK website as well as in the Tools and Software tab for the ADS8674

    You could download the softwarebefore hand, you do not need to order an EVM to be able to download the GUI, so you can familiarize yourself with it as well

    Hi Cynthia,

    Tools and Software tab for the ADS8674 is listed the ADS8678-EVM information.
    In User's Guide for ADS86xx-GUI, ADS8674 is not in the useable devicesfor GUI and EVM. Could you try change and operation the device for EVM from ADS8678 to ADS8674?

    I apologize this wasn't clearly labeled on our documentation. I'll look into clearly labeling our documentaiton
    The ADS86xxEVM can support both device, as well as the GUI, ADS8678 and ADS8674.
    The two devies are pin to pin compatible and software compatible, the only real difference is the channel count.
    Once within the GUI you can use either device. If the GUI does not show ADS8674 communications, then ADS8678 communication can be used with the ADS8674 hardware on the EVM. You will only need to keep in mind that the channel count is different when doing so.
