DAC1220EVM: DAC1220EVM with MMB0 and DXP software

Hi all,

My customer tried to evaluate DAC1220EVM with MMB0 on DXP software.
After installing DXP software, my customer connected PC and DAC1220EVM thru USB.
And they run DXP software.
DXP did not find the DAC1220EVM. So DAC config file downloader was run.
However DXP reported that "internet connection is not available" because of customer's internet security.

Is there the local setup file for DAC1220EVM configuration as a local installation instead of using internet ?

Toshi,

I'm not sure if there is a local installation available. I did find this DXP Configuration Tool page saying that an active internet connection was required for the tool to operate properly:

e2e.ti.com/.../2196.dxp-configuration-file-download-tool

If I am able to find a method to run the tool and set up the proper files without an internet connection. I will post a response back to this thread.

Adapting this from another post:

After the DXP software installs, copy the DAC1220.xml file into the “Devices” directory that the installer created. Typically located in ‘C:\Users\Public\Documents\DXP\Devices’. If you cannot find the “Devices” directory, go the DXP install directory, typically “C:\Program Files\DXP” and open the file “DXP.ini”. Locate the line that starts with “DXPDevices”; it will contain the location of the “Devices” directory.
